We took the Activity day girls to the Gale Center in South Jordan and learned a lot about who settled our area. They were farmers, miners and many more. An interesting fact about South Jordan are, it was initally called Gale, because of all the wind - and there are a lot of windy day out here. The girls had a blast! (Livi did too!)
There were many beautiful quilts on display. The chicken have jewels on them. Actual 3D jewels. The lady who made the flag was the tour guides wife. It took her 2 years to sew this quilt (all by hand).
An old building moved onto the property.
