So Cami spent February and most of March researching her History Fair project. She and her partner worked hard and learned much about Neil Armstrong. After local judging they moved on to district judging. that is happening right now (I'm home taking Livi to school) We'll find out later today how they did, but for now here are some pictures of her and her partners project.

Olivia and her "Star Student" award
Kenzie - March 7, 2009
Well it's been another busy month in our household. The current economic status hit us and we had to make a job change. We were very fortunate that a job came to us within two weeks. James has spent most of February preparing for a joint band concert. He has made such wonderful improvements preparing for Band-o-rama. It's a joy to listen to him play. Kenzie spent most of the month preparing for her piano recital. She did a wonderful job and we are very proud of her. James and Kenzie have been filling our home with music and that warms my heart. Cami has been working on her history fair project. She and her partner have been studying and working hard. We are almost finished with the project (and I can't wait). Olivia received "Star Student" award during February. She has been working hard during school and she enjoy's learning. It's a joy to listen to her read.
Hope you all are enjoying the coming signs of spring. I can't wait for the warmer weather so I may spend more time outside getting my hands dirty.

It's been another busy month in our household. James and Kenzie both celebrated this birthdays and now I have two teenagers on my hands. James received a student of the quarter award at his middle school. We are proud of him and his accomplishments.
I've been busy, as usual, keeping up with the kids and helping out at the elementary school. It's been such a joy to be at home with them again. I've also keptmyself busy writing a book. I hope to have it finished by the end of the year. Gran said she would be willing to help me edit. I'm excited to finish and see where my thought lead the story.
We hope you are all well and staying warm this cold January.

On Wednesday December 17th, we had the privilage of watching James and Kenzie preform in their middle school band concert. Both have improved very well. This video segment is of James and the symphonic band. Unfortunatly the video of Kenzie in beginning band didn't work. We are very proud of the work they have done and the improvement they have made. (James is the middle trombone player in this video.)
